Step off the rue Stanley and into the heart of India at Le Taj. Dining is a study in elegant simplicity, enhanced by their stunning examples of artifacts and wall sculpture, one of which was made for the India Pavilion at the '67 Expo. A buffet is available for those who wish to taste a little of everything; at lunch this is a very reasonably priced option. The regular menu is extensive and concentrates on north Indian staples fragrant with turmeric, ginger and garam masala. The portions are generous and are all accompanied by handmade naan, served hot, fresh and aglow with a glaze of butter.
